For those who missed the show, you have missed outstanding performances both of Lani Misalucha and Vice Ganda.

Toronto loved Lani and Vice!

Lani , as always, enthralled the fans with her wonderful operatic voice and its versatility. Her rendition of “Time to Say Goodbye” is just unforgettable, better than the original performer of the song, Sarah Brightman. Her duet with Edward Granadosin of “The Prayer” was jaw-dropping.

Also, amazing was how Lani sang “Balut” in Broadway form and style. Credit to the Musical Director Lorrie Ilustre for the arrangement.

Vice was an awesome artist himself. Every witticism, and cracks from him, brought the house down! You could see people wiping tears off their eyes for so much laughing. Two people on the very font row could not help rolling on their seats with their belly laughter.

Not only that, Vice Ganda could sing, he has got an incredible voice.

You could not ask for more of this most memorable show. Music and laughter — what a great combination in entertainment.

Arnel was marvelous last night with Rachelle Anne Go and the Ammo Band adding spice to the rock gig.

The audience was enraptured with his incredible voice as soon as Arnel started singing. He first sang 3 rock numbers followed by Filipino rock songs to the delight of the audience, after which he sang duet with his special guest, Rachelle Ann Go, who was remarkable herself with her diva style of singing.

As usual Arnel did his jumps, his trademark. The audience themselves were rocking and dancing through most of the entire time Arnel was singing and could not leave the theatre. Arnel was kind and generous to his fans to render popular, all time favourite songs in his 4 encore numbers.

It was a memorable entertaining night for us who watched the show. And thanks to Arnel, Rachelle Ann and the Ammo Band.

Arnel Pineda, the Philippine musical singing sensation whose voice and energy level are off the chart, along with the very talented pop singer, Rachelle Ann Go, and accompanied by the electrifying Ammo Band, will make you rock with them when they perform here in Toronto on July 30, 2010.

As you all know, Arnel is the current lead singer of “Journey” American band but is giving this solo benefit concert for the street kids in the Philippines under the auspices of Arnel Pineda Foundation U.S. and Arnel Pineda Foundation Inc.

Arnel was with Ammo Band when they participated at the “Yamaha World Band Explosion.” Arnel won the Best Vocalist Award and the band came in as first runner-up.

Rachelle Ann Go is a Filipino singer, actress and model. She is one of the most successful female recording artists of her generation under Viva Records selling more than 250,000 album copies since she started in 2004. She is currently one of the favorite and popular “Kapuso” stars of GMA 7.

According to Music Management, Inc. the repertoire that Arnel Pineda and Rachelle Ann Go prepared for this concert tour is outstanding. The crowd that will come to the show are in for a high-calibre performance by them.

The date and time of the concert remain unchanged: Friday, July 30, 2010 at 7:30 p.m.

A change of venue was requested so that there will be a more intimate interaction between the artists and the audience.

Marian, the Philippine goddess, was breathtakingly beautiful and could sing and dance as well. Her two dance numbers were very entertaining. She was a graceful, sexy and charming dancer.

Dingdong drove the fans crazy with his good looks and charisma. He played well with the audience. His duet with Marian just made the Dongyan followers go ecstatic.

What a dazzling show!

Regine Velasquez is dubbed as the Asia’s Songbird after winning the 1989 Asia Pacific Singing Contest in Hong Kong and is widely known for possessing a wide vocal range. She was the first Filipino to stage a solo concert at the Main Hall of Carnegie Hall, part of Carnegie Hall’s centennial-year concert series. This is the second appearance of Regine in Toronto.  First was in  the sold out show“Duel of the Divas” with Lani Misalucha in 2008.

OgieAlcasid  is a composer and debuted as a singer in 1989 with the release of his self-titled album. Ogie Alcasid reached gold record status, while his debut single “Nandito Ako” (I Am Here) was awarded “Song of the Year” by local radio station Magic 89.9. Ogie is recently the judge in Pinoy Idol and hosted in his new game show Da Big Show. In 2008 he received the Aliw Award’s “Entertainer of the Year” and PMPC Star Awards for “TV Best Comedy Actor.”

Dingdong Dantes is a popular television star whose TV sweetheart is Marian Rivera.  He has been host for GMA Network’s reality artist search, “StarStuck” since 2003.  In 2008, he was launched the newest image model for Bench Underwear in the “Bench Blackout Underwear and Denim Fashion Show”. Dingdong was also chosen as one of the 25 Sexiest Men of the World list in the Entertainment Television special.  He appeared with the world’s celebrities including French actor Gilles Marini and David Beckham. This September, he is set to do a movie with Iza Calzado and Marian Rivera entitled One True Love.

Marian Rivera is a well-known TV actress who started from the TAPE Inc.’s afternoon drama “Kung Mamahalin Mo Lang Ako” and aired in GMA Network. She hit stardom when she starred the title role of “MariMar” and Dingdong Dantes, was her leading man

Just last April 23, 2009, GMA-7 Senior Vice President (SVP) for Entertainment announced that Marian Rivera is television’s newest Mars Ravelo’s “Darna.”
